By: Chris Hogan

Winners of their last three games, Bridgeport will have a tough test when they host Southern New Hampshire University on Wednesday from the Northeast-10 Conference, who come to Knights field second in their conference and have won 10 straight games.

This will be the second ever meeting between the two schools since 2009, with each team winning on their home fields. The Penman are led by junior forward Chris Tsonis, who leads the Northeast-10 Conference in goals with 12, points with 26 and shots with 65. Junior midfielder Jordan Branco is second on the team with six goals and 16 points. Southern New Hampshire has not allowed more than two goals in a single game this season, while senior goalkeeper Joey Kapinos leds the NE-10 with a .903 save percentage.

Bridgeport has now shutout three of their past four opponents with junior goalkeeper Danny Hernandez accounting for each of them. Senior forward Patric Brundin has been solid over the past three games recording one goal and two assists. The Purple Knights have now moved up from fourth place to second in the ECC after defeating St. Thomas Aquinas on Saturday.
