Update on Knight's End Cafe and its Future

Much of the UB community is wondering with The "hUB" opening its doors as the new place on campus for dining, what will happen to Knights End Cafe? The answer is that will be turned into a temporary space for students to spend their time throughout the day.
George Estrada, Vice President of Grounds and Facilities said that Knight's will be converted into a self-serve dining area until next summer. Several vending machines with drinks and frozen/prepackaged meals will be added and students will be able to study or hang out there too. The entire kitchen will be gutted after the spring 2012 semester ends and the future use of it still has to be determined by Estrada along with Dean of Students Kenneth Holmes.
