Bridgeport outshot the Skyhawks 12-5 and improved to 8-0-0 with the win to remain number one in the nation. Goalkeeper Julia Hansson recorded her sixth shutout of the season. On Saturday, the Purple Knights will host N.Y.I.T. at 3 p.m. at Knights Field. The Bears come into the game 5-3 overall and 0-1 in ECC Play.
