Looking back at some late 90's songs

Everyone remembers the late 1990's as having some of the greatest music ever. Below is a list I come up with some great songs that you could consider if you haven't heard in awhile.

Rob Thomas featuring Santana -- Smooth (June 1999). This is personally my most favorite song of all time. It was the number one hit Billboard 100 for a record 12 weeks from October 12, 1999 to Feburary 12, 2000. It finished in the top fourty songs from the 90's era and number 2 in the 1999 top 100 hits behind Faith Hill's Breathe. Just an overall great listen with a complete rhythm to it.

The Product G & B featuring Santana -- Maria Maria (November 1999). This was one song that really got me interested in Carlos Santana and his amazing abilities. The song has a great Spanish vibe to it that makes it complete and Santana's guitar playing is terrific in this song that finished number 3 on the 1999 top 100 hits.

Third Eye Blind -- Jumper (November 1998). This hit ended as the 40 best song of 1998 and was the beginning to see the start of some of the top hit songs including Semi-Charmed Life and How It Going To Be. Growing up, this was one of my favorite songs that made me feel positive.

Goo Goo Dolls -- Iris (April 1998). As a runner up for song of the year in 1998, this song offers the meaning of a complete song as it has a great flow and a strong message. This is one of the bands most famous songs and it finished as the number 3 song for 1998.

Red Hot Chilli Peppers -- Scar Tissue (May 1999). Along with Smooth, this song was one of my top three songs growing up as it offered a great background rythm and excellent vocal impressions as well. It finished as the number 34 song of the 1990's.
