After coming off a big 5-4 double overtime win over ECC rival Dowling College last saturday, the Purple Knights have restablished themselves as a top 10 team in East Region. They are now 7-5-0 on the season and carry a fourth place rank in the ECC as they enter Thursday's game against Felican College.
The Golden Falcons come to Knights Field with a 7-7 overall record from the CACC. Both teams have met twice in the past two seasons and Bridgeport has taken both meeting by outscoring Felican 7-1.
Felican is led by senior defender Adrian Sutcliffe, who has five goals and a team high 11 points, while senior forwards Mike Azzato and Jadean Blasse are second with 10 points each. The Golden Falcons lead the CACC with 19.4 shots per game.
Sophomore Andreas Blanke was a key factor for the Purple Knights in their win against Dowling as he has recorded a goal and an assist and is now tied for fourth on the team in scoring. Bridgeport will be without sophomore forward Markus Naglestad for the game since he recieved a red card last Saturday.
